A combination of Sta. Rita Hills’ most pristine picks of Chardonnay. Fruit from La Rinconada, La Encantada, Sanford & Benedict, John Sebastiano, and Donnachadh Vineyards collectively create opulent flavors with crisp acidity and soft tannins. Tropical fruits fill the palate with white pear on the long finish.
This wine was crafted from the top 6 barrels of Sanford & Benedict vineyard. It is a four-clone Pinot Noir, with a partial whole cluster fermentation and only free-run juice was used.
34% Clone 943, 34% Clone 115, 17% Clone 777 and 15% Clone 667.
The last vintage of the Barden Syrah was 2013. This is one of the best cold climate Syrah’s being produced in Santa Barbara County from fruit sourced from Sta. Rita Hills’ Donnachadh vineyard. Steep hillside vineyards create an extremely bold wine. This low alcohol wine has intense fruit and a black pepper spiciness on the finish. Fermentation was 50% whole cluster.
A new addition to our BARDEN catalog… single vineyard Pinot Blanc from Sta. Rita Hills’ phenomenal La Encantada Vineyard. Stainless tank fermented in our 45-degree cold room and put through full malolactic fermentation. Barrel aged 10 months.
